Collier County concrete work, with the owner on site
Crete Concepts is an owner-operated concrete company in Cape Coral that takes projects in Naples, North Naples and Golden Gate Estates, plus homes just across the line in Bonita Springs and Estero. Syd Martin, a second-generation Southwest Florida contractor with over 20 years in the field, runs each job personally.
Projects here range from long driveways on acreage to decorative pool decks in gated neighborhoods, and you deal directly with the person who pours them.
Concrete services for Collier County homes
- Concrete driveways: new and replacement driveways, including the long runs from the road to the house that are common on Golden Gate Estates lots.
- Driveway extensions: side additions that widen a driveway for another vehicle, a golf cart or a work trailer, matched to the existing edge and grade.
- Concrete patios: outdoor living slabs for dining and lounging, laid out around landscaping and pitched so water clears the house.
- Pool decks: decks around new or existing pools, with finish and color choices made with the afternoon heat in mind.
- Slabs, pads and walkways: pads for generators, sheds, pool equipment and AC units, plus walkways connecting driveways, entries and side yards.
- Stamped concrete: stone, slate and paver-look patterns with color, a popular choice for Naples entries, walkways and lanais.
- Concrete resurfacing: a Spray-Crete topcoat that gives tired concrete a new surface and color when the slab underneath is still in good shape.
- Removal and replacement: breaking out and hauling away failed concrete, then pouring new on a properly prepared base.
Local conditions we plan for
Golden Gate Estates lots. Estates lots are large and driveways often run far back from the street, so we plan truck access and lay long pours out in sensible sections.
Wells and septic systems. Many Estates homes have a private well and septic. We ask you to show us the tank, drain field and wellhead, and route equipment to stay clear of them.
Gated communities. Gated neighborhoods usually require HOA approval and have contractor rules on work hours, gate access and truck parking. We supply the details the association asks for and follow its rules.
Decorative finishes and heat. Stamped and colored concrete is common here, so we match patterns to the existing work. On pool decks we talk through lighter colors and textured finishes, which tend to feel cooler underfoot than a dark, smooth surface.
Scheduling outside Cape Coral
Naples is a longer drive from Cape Coral than our Lee County jobs, so Collier County estimates and pours are lined up on planned travel days. Work out toward Immokalee is considered individually.
Sending photos and rough dimensions first lets Syd tell you whether the project is a fit before a visit. Small jobs under 200 sq ft can usually be priced from photos sent through the contact form, and the price calculator gives a range for bigger projects.
Common questions
Do you work in Naples and North Naples?
Yes, along with the surrounding parts of Collier County, scheduled around planned travel days.
My community is gated. What do you need from me?
The HOA approval and the community's contractor requirements. We can provide proof of insurance if the association requires it.
We have a well and septic in Golden Gate Estates. Is that a problem?
No, but point out the tank, drain field, well and buried lines before the visit so we can plan around them.
Is stamped concrete a good choice for a pool deck?
It can be. A stamped pattern adds texture underfoot, and we help you choose a lighter color for the sun. See stamped concrete for pattern ideas.
