Right next door in Cape Coral
North Fort Myers borders Cape Coral, which makes it some of the closest work we do. Crete Concepts is owned and run by Syd Martin, a second-generation concrete contractor who learned the trade on his father's job sites in Cape Coral. When you call, you talk to Syd. When the concrete truck shows up, he is there to place and finish it.
Properties in North Fort Myers cover a wide range: neighborhood homes, manufactured home communities, and lots measured in acres with barns, workshops and equipment. That variety means two quotes on the same street can look very different, so we size up each property on its own terms instead of pricing from a chart.
What we build in North Fort Myers
- Concrete driveways: long runs from the road to the house, laid out so the truck can reach as much of the pour as possible.
- Driveway extensions: parking pads for RVs, boats, work trucks and trailers alongside the driveway you already have.
- Concrete patios: slabs off the back of the house for a grill, a seating area or a future screen room.
- Pool decks: decks around new and existing pools, including larger decks on bigger lots.
- Slabs, pads and walkways: slabs for sheds, pole barns and workshops, equipment pads, and walkways between buildings.
- Stamped concrete: decorative entries and patios for homeowners who want more than a broom finish.
- Concrete resurfacing: Spray-Crete over sound but tired concrete, such as an older lanai or front entry.
- Removal and replacement: tearing out cracked, sunken or root-damaged concrete and pouring new.
Local conditions we plan for
Larger lots and long driveways. When the house sits well back from the road, the distance between where a concrete truck can park and where the concrete has to go becomes part of the job. We plan the route ahead of time. If the chute can't reach, we'll tell you up front whether the job needs a pump or extra handling.
Manufactured homes. We pour patios, carport slabs, shed pads and step landings around manufactured homes. We keep the grade so water drains away from the home instead of under it, and we work around skirting, steps and tie-downs. Many communities have their own rules for exterior changes, so check with yours before we schedule.
Rural access. Unpaved drives, open grass and soft sand don't always hold a loaded concrete truck. We walk the route with you and plan where the truck will sit. On properties with a septic system, we locate the tank and drainfield so the truck and equipment stay off them.
Permits. North Fort Myers is in unincorporated Lee County, and some projects need a permit while others don't. We'll tell you whether your project needs a permit before you sign off on anything.
We also work throughout Cape Coral, Bayshore and the rest of northern Lee County.
Common questions
Can you pour a slab for a pole barn or workshop?
Yes. Tell us the building size and what will be parked or stored on it so we can plan thickness and reinforcement. If the building comes with plans that spell out slab or footing requirements, send them over and we'll tell you whether it's work we take on.
Can a concrete truck get to the back of my property?
Often it can, but soft ground, septic systems, gates and trees all matter. We look at the route during the site visit. If the truck can't get close, we'll explain the options, such as a pump, before you decide.
Do you work in manufactured home communities?
Yes. Many communities require approval for patios, slabs and carports. Get the approval process started, and we'll give you the size and layout details the community asks for.
How do I get a price?
Use the price calculator for a range, then Syd confirms it on site. For jobs under 200 sq ft, send photos through the contact form and we will price them from the photos.
