A fresh surface without tearing out the old slab
If your concrete is solid underneath but stained, faded or worn on top, a decorative Spray-Crete finish can make it look new again for less than tearing it out and replacing it.
Not every slab is a good fit. If the concrete is sinking, heaving or badly cracked, a new surface won't fix the problem underneath, and we'll tell you that honestly.

What affects the price of resurfacing
- Condition of the slab. Sound concrete with surface wear is the best candidate. Lots of cracks or spalling means more prep before the coating goes on.
- Surface prep needed. Old paint, sealer, rust stains or oil have to come off first. The more buildup there is, the more cleaning and grinding the job needs.
- Size and layout. A single walkway is a different job than a full pool deck and lanai. Steps, edges and drains add detail work.
- Pattern and color. A plain decorative finish costs less than a multi-color or patterned design. We price it from your photos and choices.
Concrete resurfacing in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Lee County
A lot of pool decks and lanais in Cape Coral and Fort Myers were poured decades ago. The concrete underneath is often still solid, but the old coating is chalky, stained or peeling from years of sun and pool chemicals. That's where Spray-Crete makes sense. It puts a new decorative surface over the slab without the mess and cost of tearing it out and pouring new.
Florida humidity and summer storms affect when we can resurface, since the slab has to be clean and dry for the coating to bond. We plan around afternoon rain when we can. Homes near the water on Pine Island, in Matlacha and along Cape Coral canals see more salt air and mildew, so prep and cleaning matter even more. Send photos and we'll tell you honestly whether your slab is a good fit.
How a resurfacing job runs
- Send photos. Call 239-841-6404 or use the project form to share photos so we can check the slab.
- Confirm it's a fit. Syd looks at the condition and lets you know if resurfacing is the right call.
- Clean and repair. The surface is pressure-cleaned, prepped and any suitable cracks are treated.
- Apply the finish. The Spray-Crete finish goes on in your chosen color and pattern, then sealer if selected.
Common questions
Can every old slab be resurfaced?
No. The existing concrete has to be solid. Major movement, settling or deterioration usually means replacement is the better fix.
How is resurfacing priced?
By size and the condition of the surface. Send a few photos and we'll tell you whether your slab is a good candidate.
Can I send photos first?
Yes, and that's the best first step for resurfacing. Send the details and photos through the project form.
